Between 16 and 17 March, our group participated in the annual SRS meeting. SRS stands for Svenska Rymdforskares Samarbetsgrupp, which is a group that gathers Swedish Space researchers. Our PhD students Erik and Albert presented two excellent posters, one summarising some of the results on forest biomass and canopy cover estimation from SAR tomography, and one presenting our new experiment BorealScat, which will be a tower radar experiment in a forest outside Skövde. Moreover, Henrik Persson presented a poster summarising some of our TanDEM-X results.

Large-scale mapping of forests with radar interferometry
Recently, during the Swedish Remote Sensing Days, I have presented a poster on large-scale mapping of forest stem volume from satellite using radar interferometry and a high-resolution ground surface model. Check it out in the poster section.
